Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026.
1. The short version
SubmitSure's tools process your files inside your own web browser. Your files are never uploaded to our server, never stored by us, and never shared with anyone. We do not have an account system, and we do not ask for your name, address or documents to use the tools.
2. Your files
When you use a tool — for example, the File Checker, Image Compressor, Photo Resizer, Signature Resizer, PDF Checker, Screenshot Reader or Batch Preparation — the file you choose is read by your browser using the FileReader and canvas APIs, and all processing happens on your device. The site's code contains no upload of file contents: there is no fetch or XMLHttpRequest call that sends a file, an image, a PDF or any part of a document to any server. You can verify this yourself by opening your browser's developer tools, choosing the Network tab, and using a tool — no request will carry your file.
Downloaded results (a compressed image, a resized photo, a prepared file) are generated in your browser and saved by your browser to your device. We never see them.
Do not send us personal documents by email. If you contact us about a bug, describe the problem in words and include only the file type and size — never attach a passport, ID card or application form.
3. What we do collect
Tool-use counts, stored only in your browser. A small script (assets/analytics.js) counts how many times each tool is used and stores that count in your browser's localStorage, so the home page can show a simple total such as "Tools used on this device so far". These counts never leave your device: the script makes no network request, and no count, filename, file content or personal information is sent to us or to any third party. Clearing your browser data removes the counts.
Contact emails. If you use the Contact page, your email app sends us the message you write, including the email address you send it from. We use it only to reply to you, and we do not sell or share it.
Hosting logs. The hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may keep standard server logs, such as the pages requested and the country a request came from, as part of operating the service. We do not combine those logs with any file contents, because we never receive file contents.
4. Cookies and advertising
SubmitSure itself does not set tracking cookies. The localStorage counts described above are not cookies and are not sent anywhere.
Google advertising disclosure. At present, SubmitSure does not display Google ads and no AdSense code is installed on this site. If advertising is added in the future, this policy will be updated before any ads appear. For transparency, the disclosure that will then apply is:
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.
Until ads are actually added, no advertising cookies are set by this site, and the statement above is a forward-looking disclosure, not a description of current behaviour.
5. Third-party libraries
Two optional libraries may be loaded from a public CDN when a tool needs them: pdf.js (used by the PDF Checker to count pages accurately) and JSZip (used by Batch Preparation to offer a combined ZIP download). These libraries are loaded as code, not as a place your files are sent — your files are still processed locally. If the CDN cannot be reached, the tools fall back to a clearly labelled local method instead. No other third-party scripts, fonts or trackers are loaded by this site.
6. Children
SubmitSure is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because the tools need no account, there is nothing for a child to sign up to.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if advertising is added or the analytics approach changes — the "Last updated" date above will change and the new text will appear on this page. The current version always governs.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent through the Contact page.
