About SubmitSure
SubmitSure is a small, free toolkit built for a very specific frustration: preparing a photo, signature or PDF for an online application, only to have the portal reject it for a reason that is hard to pin down — a file a few kilobytes too large, a format the portal does not accept, or dimensions that are a few pixels off.
Most application portals state their rules clearly, but they rarely explain why a particular file failed, and they rarely help you fix it. SubmitSure fills that gap. It measures your actual file against the rules you enter, tells you exactly which rule failed, and gives you the tools to fix it: compress an image to an exact KB target, resize a photo or signature to exact pixels, or check a PDF's size and page count.
What makes SubmitSure different
- Private by design. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using standard JavaScript, FileReader and canvas features. Your files are never uploaded to a server, because there is no server that receives them. You can verify this in your browser's network panel.
- Honest results. A check reports the measured size, format and dimensions of your file. If a file fails, the result says so and says why. The compressor reports the closest size it could actually reach instead of pretending it hit an impossible target, and the Screenshot Reader does not claim to use OCR when it does not.
- Free, with no account. There is no sign-up, no payment and no paid API behind the tools. The site is hosted on a free tier and built from plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Built for real applications. The presets cover the situations people actually face — government job applications, university admissions, passport and visa photos — and every tool also accepts custom rules, because every portal is slightly different.
What SubmitSure is not
SubmitSure is not an official service of any government, university, employer or visa authority, and it is not affiliated with any of them. It does not guarantee that an application will be accepted, and it does not submit anything on your behalf. The final check always happens on the official application portal, and the portal's own rules are the ones that count.
Who runs SubmitSure
SubmitSure is an independent project maintained by its owner as a free public utility. If you find a bug, a preset that is out of date, or a tool that does not behave as described, please tell us through the Contact page — reports like that are how the site improves.
